Excitement as Paradox Partners Big Industry Players to Launch its Metaverse Gaming Experience
The Paradox Metaverse is powered by Unreal Engine and receives massive PR on social media ahead of its full launch.
Metaverse gaming has improved since Unreal Engine 5 came into the picture. Several new virtual games were created with the extended reality development tool, which has led to a better appeal for blockchain games. The latest on the block is the Paradox Metaverse. The UK-based metaverse game is generating a lot of hype on social media with its stunning graphics and immersive gameplay.
An open-world action-adventure package, Paradox Metaverse offers a truly immersive experience with powerful graphics and gameplay that draws inspiration from Grand Theft Auto and Cyberpunk 2077. The team behind the project has already released several trailers showing different aspects of the gameplay. The game will be free to play, although it offers in-game assets in the form of non-fungible tokens. Players that buy the game’s NFTs will be eligible to enjoy an upgraded experience different from the free-to-play tier.
Paradox Metaverse follows a plot borrowed from a dystopian society. A squad of robot police has overrun a city. Players must enter the city, overcome the invaders, and retake it. Several in-game portals lead to different planets, each with its unique gameplay. Players can also level up their avatars as they attempt to overthrow the robot police in Paradox City.
Players will receive different non-fungible tokens when they complete missions. ParaGuns, Para BodyBox, and Paraclothing NFTs will also be available on the Paradox Marketplace, where users can trade their in-game assets among themselves. All sales in the Paradox Marketplace will incur platform fees, of which a tenth will be redistributed into the staking and prize pools of the ecosystem. Upon entry into the Paradox Metaverse, each player receives an avatar and a car, which they can customize later.
The Paradox Metaverse will feature a token, $PARA, which will reward players for completing missions and staking in pools. The team has also announced a 24-hour period between earnings to allow players to explore the game without any reward incentive. Players who stake $PARA will also earn about 20% annual percentage yields from the staking pools.
The Paradox Metaverse has been the subject of several discussions on social media, with big-name influencers and artists like Digga D and Headie One having mentioned the project lately. Popular streamer IamSpeed will participate in a launch event for Paradox, as he is a big fan of the metaverse game. Paradox has also partnered with some of the biggest names in the crypto space, with OpenSea, Unreal Engine, Binance, and Uniswap on its list of partners.
The Paradox Metaverse ecosystem will also feature other side attractions beyond the game. Paradox Events will allow fans to join exclusive shows and enjoy content from their favourite gamers and streamers during $PARA prize tournaments. Users can enter and enjoy an immersive experience watching their favourite influencers battle in the Paradox Metaverse. The Paradox team has also announced a launchpad feature for upcoming game tokens seeking to leverage the Paradox community.
