Paris Hilton to Host Metaverse Dating Reality Show Parisland

The socialite and reality star’s company, 11:11 Media, has teamed up with the online gaming world, The Sandbox, to make Parisland, a mix of a game and an interactive TV show.

It has been announced that Paris Hilton will serve as the host of “Parisland,” a brand new dating reality program that will debut in the Metaverse. This is a historic event in the realm of virtual reality entertainment, as it will be the first dating show of its sort to take place exclusively within the Metaverse.

According to the production team, “Parisland” will showcase a group of suitable people searching for love in a virtual environment. Hilton, known for her big personality, will host and help the participants find love. Contestants will explore virtual worlds, compete in challenges, and bond during the show.

About the Reality Show

Players in Parisland will take part in a metaverse dating reality show hosted by Hilton that is described as a “romantic adventure set on a tropical island.” Just before Valentine’s Day, on February 13, it debuts on The Sandbox and lasts for one month.

Players will have the chance to meet five possible romantic partners in Parisland. Before making their final decision, they will have to take part in a variety of activities, like picking out wedding rings and attire, figuring out the recipe for the famous Love Burger created by the island chef, saving a stranded competitor, and chatting it up with other candidates. Then they’ll get married, and Hilton will be the DJ at the wedding.

Sebastien Borget, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of The Sandbox, stated, “I can’t think of a better way to liven up the winter months than putting up a romantic Valentine’s Day vacation to Paris Hilton’s tropical island in the metaverse.” Parisian beaches, playful romance, and genuine feelings are all available as you search for and court your ideal spouse and celebrate with a destination wedding.

The Sandbox

The Sandbox is a sister company of Hong Kong-based crypto gaming titan Animoca Brands and a decentralized gaming virtual environment. It lists Warner Music Group, Snoop Dogg, Ubisoft, The Walking Dead, Tony Hawk, The Smurfs, Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, and Care Bears as its collaborators and characterizes its location as “part virtual real estate, part entertainment park.”

It collaborated with Lionsgate to introduce its metaverse platform with the Hellboy project last year. Before focusing on transferring IP and a community of mobile developers to the blockchain, the company first developed some well-liked mobile games. High-profile entertainment figures continue to be lured to cryptocurrencies and NFTs as a new creative and financial channel, even if both sectors have had a difficult year with falling prices and the demise of FTX. Parisland is distributed by Hilton’s pop culture-focused 11:11 Media, which she co-founded in 2021 with veteran media and TV executive Bruce Gersh, COO, and President. In addition to founding Worldwide Global Media, he has held a variety of responsibilities at companies such as Disney, Time Inc., William Morris, Meredith Corporation, and ITV Studios America.
